Each small white button, when pressed, acts as a ‘BYPASS’ toggle function.

Each dial increases the value when turning  clockwise, & decreases the value when turning anti-clockwise.
In addition, each dial
also acts as a push button, when pressed, it will send a preset value applicable to the function you are editing.
The Mobi One Surface Controller is mapped to be as close as possible to the Cubase Edit Screen.

Every dial & button has been placed in a logical order, to help you take your Cubase sessions to the next level.

MODE 1 makes use of the most commonly used features in the Cubase Edit Window :

Pre Section.
Noise Gate.
Standard Compressor
All 4 parts of the EQ.
Saturation.
With 34 dials, & a total of 47 buttons, the fully customisable Primary Controller will bring your Cubase / Nuendo projects to life.

In this section, we will look at the overall controls and basic functions of the OPERATION CONTROLS as depicted in this image.

This section has universal functions across all MODES & should not be customised.

Intro10

The MODE function, allows the user to select a bank of pre-sets, either pre loaded or customised by the user.  All pre-sets are configured within the Cubase Studio Setup, Generic Remote pages, or if using Cubase V12 onwards, also using the MIDI Remote feature.

MODE 1 is the default selection.

When in MODE 1, the Mobi One controller acts as described on the top panel markings.
There are six modes to choose from, five of which  are customisable.*

MODE 1 : Standard use of controls in the Cubase Edit Windows (Rack, Pre & EQ ).

MODE 2: Extra functionality of Cubase Rack functions & is partially customisable.

MODE 3: Further extra functionality of Cubase Rack functions & is partially customisable.

MODES 4, 5 & 6 are fully customisable within Cubase, for example, to use to control stock & third party plug-ins.

* It is recommended that MODE 1 is not customised, as this would impair the functionality when in standard use.
Intro11

Turning the dial changes the selected track number,

The maximum range of selectable tracks is track 1 to track 200.*

A short single press of the dial button, puts the controller into JUMPMODE.  The amber LED above the dial will light up.

JUMPMODE allows the user to jump up or down the tracklist in increments of 10.

Exit JUMPMODE with a short single press.

A long single press of the dial button, will ‘JUMP TO ZERO’:  If track >= 101 then track will jump to 100. If track <=100 then track will jump to 0.
When saving your Cubase project, the selected track number is recorded, and will appear as you left it, when reloading the project.

* The controller functions will still operate normally on tracks above 200, but they must be manually selected with the mouse
